Job Description:
As a Software Developer at SoftTech, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining software applications based on business and technical requirements. You will work closely with software engineers, product managers, designers, QA professionals, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders to build reliable, scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills, practical development experience, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for creating efficient technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Database Development: Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to create queries, manage data, and develop efficient database integrations.
  • Code Reviews: Participate in peer reviews and technical discussions to improve code quality, maintainability, security, and performance.
  • Version Control: Use Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or similar tools to manage source code and support collaborative software development.
  • Application Maintenance: Maintain, enhance, and upgrade existing software applications to improve functionality, reliability, security, and performance.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and implement improvements to application speed, scalability, and resource utilization.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with software engineers, QA engineers, product managers, UI/UX designers, DevOps teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
  • Agile Development: Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, code reviews, technical meetings, and other Agile or Scrum activities.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain documentation related to application functionality, APIs, technical solutions, development processes, and system components.
  • Security Practices: Follow secure coding practices and contribute to developing applications that protect business and user data.

    Who Should Apply:

    • Experience: 1-4 years of professional experience in software development, application development, web development, backend development, frontend development, or a related technology role.
    • Software Development Knowledge: Good understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, software architecture, and software development principles.
